The Summer Fruits de Mer All-Dayer at the Borderline in London

Who'd have thought it? A Summer Fruits de Mer All-dayer, sponsored by Record Collector and featuring FdM-associated artists from around the world, with The Pretty Things topping the bill - bloody hell!
Sendelica from Wales, Jack Ellister from the Netherlands, Stay from Spain and The Luck Of Eden Hall from the USA all made the trip over for this showcase of Fruits de Mer bands in a cracking central London venue - the Borderline.
And The Pretty Things topped the bill - 50 years in the business and still bloody brilliant live.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS A DAY TO REMEMBER - THE ARTISTS, EVERYONE WHO CAME ALONG AND CREATED SUCH A GREAT ATMOSPHERE, ANDY MCDUFF AND THE RECORD COLLECTOR TEAM, JIM DRIVER AND THE BORDERLINE CREW AND EVERYONE WHO HELPED SPREAD THE WORD AND PASSED ON THEIR BEST WISHES FOR FRUITS DE MER'S FIRST LIVE EVENT - I'D LOVE TO DO IT AGAIN NEXT YEAR - WHO KNOWS???

For the record, there was a Fruits de Mer Records/Record Collector goodie bag for the first 150 through the door on the day and, as part of it, I put together a CD with a selection of tracks from the past and present of the label and 'FdM artists'; it was called 'Something Old, Somethying New, Something Borrowed' and the line-up looked like this :
