Fruits de Mer's club members brighten these dark times with a selection of their favourite songs from the era of peace, love, sun, beads and hippies; here are some UK contributions (the artists, not the club members)...

Dr Floyd neatly sums it all up before we start with The Beatles, Mark Colwill takes roads less travelled with Eyes Of Blue and The Alan Bown and Pete Banahan comes up with a beauty...

Matt Breach picks another Beatles gem, Gavin Lloyd Wilson reminds us of a true British maverick, Shuggy Brown goes 'classic '67' as does Robert Musgrove (although it was recorded in'68)...

David Nelson embraces love and peace with bells on, and then it's over to Ernie Oakley for three blasts of Piccadilly Sunshine...

Mal Reynolds kicks things off with three choices, including a track from my favourite Stones album, and Andy Thomas introduces a bit more sun...

Three from Dave Smith (the third was released in Jan'70, so must have been recorded in the 60s!) and a classic from Ramon Piserra...

Two crackers from Mark Colwill, a bit of a cheat from Dave Lovatt and one that seems to have slipped through the club members' net...

Let's end for now with contributions from Steve Smith, Craig Palmer and two from Allan Walton that couldn't be more different (or could they?)

help spread the word!
