The Sand Pebbles come from Australia, in fact they first got together in 2001 when three of them were scriptwriters for ‘Neighbours’!

I happened to hear 'Notion' and thought it was crying out to be on a 7” single; fortunately the band and their label agreed and have let me loose to help spread the word; the b-side - ‘Desire Lines’ - shows their more motorik side, is equally excellent and comes from their previous album, ‘Pleasure Maps’.
