ii. ...naw Canadian track, suggested by Ryne Hoek

iv. ...from Andy Thomas

i. MANHATTAN SLIDE - BLUE SHADOWS
ii. SULA BASSANA - ENDLESS
iii. ASSEMBLE HEAD IN SUNBURST SOUND - MOSQUIO LANTERN
iv. THE SOLAR FLARES - GET IT TOGETHER

i. " If you like Peter Green era Fleetwood Mac..." Kevin Chown struggled to find much by this band to share
ii. Ernie Oakley opts for something a bit longer than 2 minutes...
iii. "Great, grungy psychedelic stoner rock", so says John Sewell
iv. ...who also reckons, "hearing Mr Day play his guitar is probably the closest a mere stripling of 57 like me can get to experiencing Jimi Hendrix in full flight.

i. MANFREAD MANN CHAPTER THREE - MISTER, YOU'RE A BETTER MAN THAN I
ii. HOOFFOOT - LAST FLIGHT OF THE RATITE
iii. SENOR COCONUT - SHOWROOM DUMMIES
iv. WITCHITA FALL - HECTIVITY

Over to Till Wolff for two choices...
i. "a killer version (no offence - the Yardbirds are not bad either ...!) - plus it's reminded me how good this record was...still forgotten but back then too weird & jazzy for Manfred Mann fans and too poppy for jazz fans"
ii. "...Linked to Oresund Space Collective and Bland Bladen - but here not spacerock but tight Canterbury-flavoured proggy jazz rock - not so far from Soft Machine and the more jazzy Canterbury groups from the early 70s...even a bit Caravan in places"
iii. Ian Yates, "Senor Coconut (aka Atom Heart) doing Kraftwerk Latin style - household chores with Senor Coconut are so much easier! Cha-cha-cha indeed!"
iv. Russ Bravo recommends, "A rather lost gem from 1969, which will appeal to lovers of slightly progressive baroque pop /acid folk"

i. NO VIOLET - SHE GOES HER OWN WAY
ii. HALF DEAD CLATCH - ELECTRIC DESERT
iii. MASCA - SWEET TOOTH
iv. THE NOMEN - SPACESHIP

i. Roy Sinclair says, "They did a set at the Strangeforms Festival at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds back in 2022 and they went down a storm. It was quite jazzy generally, and very tight musically - the audience in the pit were all as one, and I was amongst them. That gig was to celebrate my 70th birthday!"
ii. " Another from a blues background but with a very spaghetti western feel to it. I look forward to the monthly EP release from this guy - never quite sure where he's going. There's everything from classic blues to western soundscapes and beyond" - Kevin Chown
iii. Back to Roy with another Bristol band...
iV. ...and finally, for now, Kevin recommends the completely mad NoMen...

LOTS more to come...!
