BURIED TREASURE - FREE 12th BIRTHDAY SAMPLER

Put together for Fruits de Mer by label boss Alan Gubby, since 2013 Buried Treasure has released lost film & TV scores, archival electronics & library themes whilst also championing innovative new artists who wilfully carve their own furrow.

From malfunctioning modular synths & tech-funk to pastoral psychedelia & industrial drone by way of free jazz & electro pop plus some legendary, previously unreleased soundtracks.

The CD includes tracks by:

Bobby Freex - Brighton based dubstep + techno producer
James Stevens - British avant-garde composer who created the swinging Soho-jazz score for 1960's sci-fi flick 'They Came From Beyond Space'
Revbjelde - Berkshire based folk noise collective led by composer and author Alan Gubby
Eric Wetherell - head of music for HTV in the 1970s and composer of the soundtrack to cult children's series Sky
Bernard Grancher - French electro-punk / pop maverick and boss of the Astra Solaria label
Jed St. Christopher - mystery producer working exclusively with modular synth hardware on behalf of The Harris Institute
the black Albumen - Glyn Bigga Bush (The Dandelion Set / Rockers Hi-Fi) & Hannah Ylitepsa from Finland deliver an incredible, updated homage to Cantebury progsters Egg
Matthew Shaw - Cornish electronic musician and co-founder of The Stone Club - recorded at an Irish retreat owned by Jimmy Cauty (The KLF)
Language Field - playful & melodic electronica by London based producer Paul Cheshire
Tim Hill - an inspirational figure within the UK jazz, noise and improv world, Tim's new album explores industrial folk, dub, electronics and acoustic drone. Retep Folo & Dorothy Moskowitz - a dreamlike collaboration between Swedish producer Peter Olofsson & the legendary vocalist for 1960's psych band The United States Of America
Rupert Hine - producer to the stars (Rush, Stevie Nicks, Kevin Ayers, Nico, Howard Jones, Underworld, Tina Turner...) Rupert's ground breaking work on 1978 horror film The Shout was long thought lost until now.
