The latest in our 'Intro' series - we couldn't wait any longer, it HAD to be time for Sendelica - and of course, it HAD to be a FOUR CD set - compiled by band leader Pete Bingham, with many songs from their Fruits de Mer releases, together with recordings from the band's archives, including their first-ever recordings and previously unreleased trscks.

Sendelica are Wales’ best kept secret, a psychedelic rock trio from West Wales composed of core members Pete Bingham (guitar), Glenda Pescado (bass) and Jack Jackson (drums), Lee Relfe (sax) and the inimitable Colin Consterdine (beats, keys and production). The band have regularly collaborated with many musicians including Damo Suzuki, Nik Turner, Twink and The Orb, alongside artists, film makers and dancers over the years.

They wear their influences on their sleeves and their music has been described as blending the hypnotic pulse of Can, the impressionistic atmospherics of Pink Floyd, the motorized meteroic beat of Neu, the space patrolling guitar pyrotechnics of Jimi Hendrix and the otherworldly ambiences of The Orb. They are also reknowned for bringing it all kicking and screaming into the 21st century, this is no nostalgia band.

Sendelica have spent 20 years building a stunningly-prolific cottage industry in far-flung West Wales, releasing 24 studio albums, numerous live sets, plus many one-off singles and solo spinoffs. They routinely interact with the world, beaming out there widescreen space-rock-electronic-psychedelia, and enjoy an expanding global following that’s taken them touring in America, Europe and Russia.

Over the years they have been signed to Vincebus Eruptus (Italy), Sunhair Records (Germany), Falling Down Records (France), RAIG (Russia), Tidylike (Wales) and currently for the last decade or more with Fruits De Mer Records (UK).
